Success Is Easy

The World Renowned Business Philosopher, Jim Rohn mention that just one behavior that differentiate success from fail, NEGLECT. Below is very precious quote from him.

“We’ve all heard the expression, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Well, I’ve got a good question for you: What if it’s true? Wouldn’t that be easy to do - to eat an apple a day? Here’s the problem: It’s also easy not to do.
……..Neglect starts out as an infection then becomes a disease.

Cardiovascular problems alone in America create over a thousand funerals a day… and 90% of the problem is neglect.
………One of the reasons many people don’t have what they want is neglect.”

Establishing Dreams and Goals

by Jim Rohn

One of the amazing things we have been given as humans is the unquenchable desire to have dreams of a better life, and the ability to establish goals to live out those dreams. Think of it: We can look deep within our hearts and dream of a better situation for ourselves and our families; dream of better financial lives and better emotional or physical lives; certainly dream of better spiritual lives. But what makes this even more powerful is that we have also been given the ability to not only dream but to pursue those dreams and not only to pursue them, but the cognitive ability to actually lay out a plan and strategies (setting goals) to achieve those dreams. Powerful! And that is what we will discuss in detail this week: How to dream dreams and establish goals to get those dreams.

The Legend is Never Die

cc Flickr photo Credit: SegFault

Yesterday June 26, I woke up a bit later than 7 in the morning. At my first consciousness, I perceived a voice of a breaking news announcer. He mentions something about Michael Jackson but I missed the core part of the news. My gut feel tells me that there must be some bad thing happened to MJ. In next few minutes, I turn on my computer, heading to CNN. It’s LIVE there on CNN.com reporting a shocking news to the world.

MJ and I are about the same age. I enjoy singing his song, and was tried to copy his sweet voice on ‘Ben’, since I was just a kid. I grew up with his increasing famous. I danced with his ‘Billy Jean…Thriller…” I teared with his “We Are The World”.

Though I didn’t follow his albums for quite several years recently, he still a remarkable talent singer whom I never forget. He is my generation’ Elvis Presley.

Nina Ferrell made her notes dedicated to Michael on her facebook:

“…His passing over makes me think of the misunderstood ones, the true angels who are simply not recognized for what they are, who are so guileless that their behavior and lives come across as totally impossible to understand for most people.

Michael is one of those. His music came from his soul, the light he was supposed to spread he chose to spread through music which is simply another light harmonic…”

The Subtlety of Language by Jim Rohn

The Subtlety of Language

by Jim Rohn

Jim RohnI have found that sometimes the subtle difference in our attitude, which of course can make a major difference in our future, can be as simple as the language we use. The difference in even how you talk to yourself or others.

Consciously making a decision to quit saying what you don’t want and to start saying what you do want. I call that faith. Believing the best, hoping for the best and moving toward the best.

A few examples could be, instead of saying “What if somebody doesn’t respond” you start saying, “What if they do respond?” Instead of saying “What if someone says no?” You say, “What if they say yes?” Instead of “What if they start and quit?” say, “What if they start and stay?” or “What if it doesn’t work out?” You say, “What if it does work out?” and the list goes on and on.

Everyone Can Perform “Miracles”

Excerpts from Napoleon Hill Yesterday and Today issue 126 June 19, 2009; a weekly email distributed for The Napoleon Hill Foundation.

Everyone Can Perform “Miracles”

by Napoleon Hill

A positive mental attitude is the habit of keeping the mind busily engaged in connection with the circumstances and things one desires in life, and off then things one does not desire. The majority of people go all the way through life with their mental attitudes dominated by fears and anxieties and worries over circumstances which somehow have a way of making their appearance sooner or later. And the strange part of this truth is that these people often blame other people for the misfortunes they have thus brought upon themselves by their negative mental attitudes.

The Major Key to Your Better Future is You

Jim Rohn was born to an Idaho farming family. He began his early adulthood without acclaim, leaving college after his first year, starting a family and trying to get by as best he could as a salaried worker.

In 1985, he was the recipient of the National Speakers Association CPAE Award. He is also the author of 17 different books, audio and video programs. Jim Rohn is considered a “Business Philosopher”. He does not claim to teach novel truths, only fundamentals - and as he is fond of saying: “There are no new fundamentals. Truth is not new, it’s old.

The Major Key to Your Better Future is You

by Jim Rohn

Of all the things that can have an effect on your future, I believe personal growth is the greatest. We can talk about sales growth, profit growth, asset growth, but all of this probably will not happen without personal growth. It’s really the open door to it all. In fact I’d like to have you memorize a most important phrase. Here it is, “The major key to your better future is YOU.”

Let me repeat that. “The major key to your better future is YOU.” Put that someplace you can see it every day, in the bathroom, in the kitchen, at the office, anywhere where you can see it every day. The major key to your better future is YOU. Try to remember that every day you live and think about it. The major key is YOU.
